Sahiwal tragedy: Victim's family expresses dissatisfaction over probe
The brother of Khalil, victim of Sahiwal incident, expressed dissatisfaction over the ongoing probe.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The brother of Khalil, victim of Sahiwal incident, on Friday expressed dissatisfaction over the ongoing investigations saying that security is being provided to assassins while affected family is being humiliated on the roads.
Addressing a press conference along with their legal counsel Shahbaz Bukhari, deceased s brother Jalil said that the president Arif Alvi and Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani invited my family to federal capital, Islamabad, for special meeting but it was informed us after reaching there that the president is on his visit to Karachi.
"Government is making butt of jokes with affected family instead of taking the Sahiwal tragedy seriously," he alleged.
On the other hand, his legal counsel Bukhari warned that a petition will be filed in the court on Monday if the government and investigative departments do not make any progress in the case within two days.
